Serenity is the silence of reflecting internally as opposed to projecting externally. .
Serenity is also the means by which we regain our selves, discover and regain dominion over our infinite powerful thoughts.
So SERENITY is all of these at the same time:
Calmness self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge of the self and absence of wrath and vindictiveness, letting go of the need for enjoyment (entertainment) and distractions (which eventually leads to suffering.)
So one acts from a deep space of Serenity (non- attachment) without being attached to the result and this facilitates the practice of benevolence, absence of thought about all subjects other than the realization of self.
This is the tool that allows us to value ourselves, bring dignity and self -awareness to all our encounters and live from a deep and fathomless well of mindfulness.
